mr. A.W. (Ate) Bijlsma

Ate has worked for TRIP Law since 2007 and is mainly involved with specialist business law. In his practice, he advises business people and institutions on such issues as investments and takeovers, setting up public entities, governance issues and drawing up partnerships.

Following his studies in Groningen, Ate left for Utrecht and then returned to the north, the region where he felt most at home. Ate has been part of our managing committee since 2020. As civil-law notary, he aims to be approachable and available for his clients, and his focus lies on preventing disputes by correctly recording agreements and clearly explaining the options in advance. Various knowledge and healthcare institutions, investment companies and businesses are amongst his clients.
