mr. E. (Erik) Eshuis

As a partner in the sectors insolvency law and business law, Erik has developed a specialism in shipping and all that is related to shipping. He handles the settlements of bankrupt shipping companies and works on the financing and sale of ships, ship building contracts, yard problems and damages. In this segment, he also represents numerous German clients such as financiers and ship owners.

Erik has worked for TRIP Law for over 20 years and joined the executive board in 2017. He became particularly well-known in 2013 when he was appointed insolvency practitioner for Aldel, at the time the largest aluminium producer in the Netherlands, later settling the liquidation of the factory.
