mr. J.J. (Jaap Jan) Plas

Jaap-Jan is mainly involved in complex real estate questions that arise during the property cycle, from the start of a project to the investment phase. He focuses on transactions, project development, property finance, sustainable energy and investment vehicles (including family funds). His clients include government authorities, approved organisations, investors, developers, port authorities, healthcare institutions, and builders.

Jaap-Jan is a sharp-minded and ambitious with an eye for both the legal details and the financial/strategic interests of the client and the transaction. He has worked for TRIP Law since 2001 and has been a partner since 2006. Jaap-Jan was a member of the executive board from 2007 to 2020, and he is cofounder of various property-related associations and foundations. He also holds various other positions in society.
