We are at the centre of our community. In fact, being involved in the community and locally is one of our driving forces – and it is about more than just legal matters. Some colleagues have set up initiatives themselves to help people in other countries or have voluntarily undertaken a sports challenge to raise money for charity. As a company, we also make time and money available for donations, sponsorship and pro bono work for social organisations.
Our community work is particularly visible in healthcare, culture, sports and education. For instance, we have long been a Friend of the Beatrix Children’s Hospital and we’re involved with many other charities. As sponsor of the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, we have been supporting music culture in the north of the Netherlands for more than 15 years. Start-ups can also turn to TRIP: we believe that a lack of experience in business should not restrict young entrepreneurs in their creativeness and ability to resolve situations. It is why for years our firm has been involved with De Noorderlingen, a minor in entrepreneurship offered by the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
TRIP has an annual budget for supporting great local initiatives. If your association or foundation needs a little extra help, then check our conditions for donations and sponsoring:
OOur firm takes the time to share our knowledge for free with community organisations (non-profit organisations). For instance, by drawing up a deed of formation, handling questions on employment law and volunteers, privacy policy for charities, and assessing terms and conditions and contracts. You can send your request for pro bono support to Astrid van der Boogh.
